so who IS that weird little freak behind the writing blog? excellent question.

hi there! my name is ozzie- and I am aspiring canlit author! i am 25, use any and all pronouns (but they/them is probably easiest for anyone), and i want to write books forever and ever.

I currently work in IT- a job that is stable and rewarding, but doesn't provide me with a whole lot of creative freedom. Currently I am living a sort of Hannah Montanna double life situation. By day, I'm a mild-mannered overachieving coder at a big tech company. By night, I let loose... and write nasty little horror romance novels that I hope to someday see published! With that, I want to take you along with me on this crazy process. anyone who has ever tried to break into the publishing industry knows that it is a whole elaborate game of trickery and mirrors. so lets kill some clowns together and try to get me on the shelves, huh?

this is a semi-professional blog just in case that publishing does happen someday, so you are freed from the most unsightly parts of me. that's for my audience on my other, more SECRET social media profiles to deal with! please enjoy my ramblings nonetheless, and hopefully we have a great time together.
